Dr. Friendship took a circuitous route to veterinary medicine, but is thrilled that she has ended up here. Dr. Friendship attended the University of Western Ontario and completed an Honours Specialization in Physiology and Psychology while playing varsity field hockey. She worked in a Developmental Biology lab in the UK before returning to Guelph to pursue her DVM.
Throughout her time at OVC, Dr. Friendship was fortunate to spend summers working with various different research projects in population medicine as well as animal behavior. She also had the opportunity to travel to Botswana to work with wildlife and domestic species as part of Global Vets.
Since graduation Dr. Friendship has worked with both large and small animals in Southwestern Ontario and then Eastern Ontario. A recent move has brought Dr. Friendship to Durham region and she is a excited to be joining the team at Oshawa Animal Hospital.
In her time away from work, Dr. Friendship enjoys spending time with her family, both furry and human.
