Jan Morgan

Jan has been training dogs professionally since 1991. She is a member of The Canadian Association of Professional Pet Dog Trainers (CAPPDT), Canadian Kennel Club (CKC), Association of Pet Dog Trainers U.S. (APDT) and a founding member of the International Positive Dog Trainers Association (IPDTA). Previously, Jan had spent many years working in the canine industry as a veterinary pharmaceutical representative. In 1996, she was able to devote her full time efforts to PAWS-ITIVE PUPPIES. Jan has been featured as a professional trainer and breeder with both CTV News and Local News Stations. She has served on the executive board for CAPPDT and the Cairn Terrier Association of Canada. She has also acted as Durham Regional Superintendent for the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program and worked as assistant to Dr. Pamela Reid and Dr. Jennifer Messer, Nathan Penny, Professional Animal Behaviourists. She has presented many educational seminars to schools, dog clubs, senior groups and retirement residences. Jan has attended continuing education courses on dog behaviour at Guelph University, CAPPDT & IPDTA Conferences, Speaking of Dogs and Professional Animal Behaviour Associates since 1991. Jan has also been active in breeding and showing champion Cairn Terriers since 1991 under the kennel prefix Cabaret Cairns.
